Traditional Tale Characters


In English we are looking at traditional tales.  Emilia read some of her Polish tales to us and we recognised lots of them!



We have been learning about new types of sentences that can help us improve our writing.  Today we learnt about Alan Peat 2 adj sentences and we have written about some of the common characters in traditional tales.  What do you think?

Slowly, the witch offered a juicy, poisonous apple with her ugly, warty hand while she picked her crooked, spotty nose.

His enormous, strong muscles bulged as he swung his ferocious, green claws. 

While he was eating Granny, his slobbering, dribbling mouth showed his teeth as sharp as swords. 

He picked his filthy, snotty nose with his enormous, dangerous club before he wiped it on his disgusting, hairy loin cloth.  
 

The giant caught the bouncy, golden ball with his hands which were as big as tree tops.
