Mia's 5 Sentence Challenge


The giant was very angry and chased Gretel across the woods. Gretel hid in the tunnel which was very dark and scary. The Giant was so tall he couldn’t fit into the tunnel or find a way in yet somehow he managed to stretch his very large hand through the hole but he couldn’t reach Gretel. His hand was as big as a double decker bus so Gretel ran away from the Giant who could not reach her. Gretel charged back to the gingerbread house.

    Hi Mia, what an amazing piece of writing. I really enjoyed reading it. You have used such wonderful language to describe what is happening. I like how you used simile to describe how big the giant's hand was. I think you could try the 100 word challenge instead next time.
