Matthias' 5 Sentence Challenge



Slowly, the black shiny train pulls into the station.
Cases as big as boulders are pushed along the platform.
Excited, happy families are off on an adventure.
Smiling, the man picks up his suitcase and walks quickly over to the ticket man.
The bored old ticket collector who has a frowning face grumpily collects the tickets.

A man ran to get a ticket to get on a train.
He showed it to the ticket officer so he could get through the gates.
He got through the gates to platform 5.
He got on the train and put his luggage away and sat down .
He had a nice journey going to Italy.

Pheobe's 5 Sentence Challenge


… At the train station …

 

Happily the joyful man waved.

Whilst fixing the train, the man who was called Joe, was chatting to the little boy.

Patiently, the people queued up whilst waiting for their train.

The man who looked very hot was pushing a trolley that had a lot of heavy bags on it.

The man, who seemed very confused, asked the guard what was going on.

One sunny morning, there were lots of people in the train station, full of steam. Smiling, a wheel tapper was tapping the wheel with a metal stick and if it made a noise it needed fixing or it would break down. A boy was begging to get a ticket for his family while another man was pushing a trolley full of suitcases.  There was an orange automatic train which looked like it could go as fast as lightening and a steam train would go as slow as a snail. An excited family walked past the gate and they wanted to go on one of the trains but they didn’t know which train to get on for their holiday.

In the station it was as loud as thunder, the people were as busy as bees.

Two birds watched as the tired old man slowly pushed the heavy trolley along

'Is the train on time ?', the 109?'the lady in red quietly said

'Yes', answered the man in blue 'I will get a ticket for you'

The sailor, who was feeling very jolly because it was his first time on a train, was buying his ticket. He giggled.

Nearly all of the people lined up in each platform, though some others were standing next to the train.

Queuing, the people watched train 109 being fixed by the engineer, who was holding a dirty screwdriver and wearing a white hat.   
The train’s engine was as noisy as a lion roaring loudly through your ear!

Quickly all the trains are in the station and they are all steamed up.

So we bought our tickets after queuing up.

We are going on our holidays because the school’s broken up.

It was early in the morning and as black as coal and we walked on to busy Platform 9.

The trains are parked in the station. One train is red and yellow, one is blue and grey. The blue train is very dirty, the red train is all shiney and it   has a posh sign on the side. There are lots of people patiently waiting on the platform. A sailor quickly buys a ticket for his journey.

Knowing she had to somehow sneak on that old steaming train, Evie scrambled under the other passengers’ legs   Suddenly, a pair of hands grabbed her but being so fast she managed to get away. She raced!  In the hustle and bustle of the busy station, the man, with the strong tough hands, lost her.  Finally, crouching down, she crept on to that train as quiet as a tiny whisper.

The train went somewhere far far away where nobody has ever gone before.

There was a lot of people and 2 guards at the front and back so they can watch.

Quickly the train went faster and faster until it reached the station.

Everyone was ready when the train stopped so they can get off.

Steam came out of the funnel the funnel was black and the steam sounded very loud.

It was a delightful summer holiday.  The beautiful train was ready to take off and it was booming fast! The smoke came out like a gigantic cloud but soon it disappeared. “Ahg… I went on the wrong train!” a little girl cried out loudly. There were some people forgot their tickets, so they were arguing with the ticket’s officer.

This picture depicts a train station.  It has alot of gates. The train is as fast as litning.  Its steem is like a cloud.  It can cary suit cases but it cant cary a car.  Until you get on the train you have to wate.

Sensibly the engineer wore grey overalls so his own clothes would stay clean.

A shiny long bright red train ready for a fast and exciting journey.

Excitedly and proudly the seafaring smart dressed sailor told lady in the ticket office that he was going home to see his family after a long time at sea.

In the super 6 week holidays, a little girl was waiting for a massive red train to go on holiday to cadbury's world.

Finally, it arrived roaring and echoing coming through the enormous dark train station, she and her family was waiting for 4 hours but it was the wrong train, they had to run to the steam engine.

They got to the steam engine and climbed In the dark brown doors as the driver made the engine  let off a really loud CHOO CHOO after the choo choo  it fired a clowd of grey steam into the air.

The steam made her jump and she was scared for a moment.

She took a deep breath, but before they new it they was there.

The dusty old train let out a big, noisy whistle that made me jump with fright!

The train cannot set off yet on its journey but the engineer is working as fast as he can, so we will have to wait or we can take the tram.

Quickly we have run to the tram station, oh no, we have forgotten our luggage!

As quick as lightening, we run back to see the train porter and said "please stop we need our luggage".

I am feeling so tired, my breath is running out and my legs feel really numb but I am happy that I can go on the tram to my holidays.

The Train Station.

 

A lonely, old lady was sat waiting at the train station for her son, who she missed so much to arrive home.

She sat through rain, snow, sun and strong blizzards, as she waited patiently for her son.

One busy morning, on platform seven a big, noisy, but very dirty train arrived, it was train 109.

Her very special son leaped off train 109 and couldn't wait to see his mum!

Through the thick smoke the old lady saw her son, she was so happy she ran down the platform and gave him a massive hug!

It is a very busy morning, on a glorious day, in one of Londons' famous train stations.

There are lots of families boarding different types of trains, some short and some as long as a slippery snake!

On platform 8, waiting patiently for its passengers is Rory the super, gleaming, bright red jumbo train.

Last to arrive was the Smith family, who were eager to get on the train as Rory was about to leave.

As Rory left the station he let out a very loud 'Choo choo!' and happily made his long, picturesque journey to Ribby Hall.
