Awesome Alphabet Alliteration Poem




A few weeks ago we looked at alphabetical order and we made a class poem.  This was when Mrs. Akhtar was with us and she helped us to write an alphabet poem.





A is for an astronaut who goes into space in a rocket ship.

B is for Batman who is a super hero.

C is for a tiny cat who runs around the house.

D is for dinosaurs who eat meat.

E is for Easter eggs which we decorate with colourful sprinkles.

F is for a sly fox who hides in the woods.

G is for George Lucas who made Star Wars.

H is for a haunted house full of bats.

I is for a cold igloo in the North Pole.

J is for yummy jam full of strawberries.

K is for kids jumping for fun.

L is for lollies made with Coca Cola.

M is for magnets sticking to metals.

N is for Next the shop.

O is for a spotty octopus which has eight tentacles.

P is for a pie that will make your tummy very happy.

Q is for the beautiful queen who waves from her royal palace.

R is for a soft, white rabbit nibbling on a crunchy carrot.

S is for a snake that hisses and bites.

T is for a slow turtle who didn’t make it to the beach.

U is for a unicorn flying through the air and landing on a pear.

V is for a violet van driving on the road.

W is for waterfall that zooms down the mountain.

X is for x-rays flashing on your body to show your skeleton.

Y is for a yellow sun shining bright in the sky.


Z is for a zebra with black and white stripes like a zebra crossing.
